How to mass-unsubscribe from YouTube channels

The honest answer first: YouTube has no built-in bulk unsubscribe. Its help pages describe exactly one official route — under a video, tap Subscribed, then Unsubscribe — one channel at a time, and document no way to remove many at once. The fastest route with YouTube’s own tools
Your channels list — youtube.com/feed/channels when signed in on the web — shows every channel you’re subscribed to, each with its own Subscribed toggle. Working down this list is much faster than unsubscribing from inside videos, because you never leave the page. It is still one tap and one confirmation per channel, and for a few dozen removals it’s genuinely fine.
Why the list alone doesn’t solve it
The channels list shows names — not which channels went quiet two years ago, and not which three channels upload half of what floods your feed. So you either open channels one by one to check, or you guess. The hard part of a mass unsubscribe was never the tapping; it’s deciding which of several hundred channels still deserve a slot.
